The preparation of startegic plan for protection and rehabilitaion of the Roman aqueduct started
With the promotion of the Memorandum of Understanding the main stage of  the project "Strategic Plan for the protection and rehabilitation of archaeological sites and surroundings of the Roman aqueduct in Skopje formally started.
The Mayor of the City of Skopje, Koce Trajanovski, first conveyed his own impression and expressed that the promotion of the Memorandum of Understanding is a good opportunity on his own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Skopje, to express his gratitude to the Kingdom of Belgium,the Flandric government and the Catholic University of Leuven, for their attention and respect to our historical and artistic heritage.
The main aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the key target groups and end users in the field of cultural heritage protection and the formulation of the strategy.
This memorandum has been signed by the project partners: the Department for Protection of Cultural Heritage, the City of Skopje, the Department for processing spatial information and the Center for monuments of the Catholic University of Leuven.
Also, collaborators in this project are:  the University St. Cyril and Methodius ", MESACONS-Macedonia Urbis et Terra-Flanders, Belgium, the Conservation center of Skopje and the municipalities of Butel and Karpos.
The project is financially supported by the Program for Southeast Europe of the Government of Flanders (Belgium).

European Agencies Network for citizenship, inclusion involvement and empowerment of communities On 6,7 and 8 June a two and a half day workshop is taking place in Skopje at the Faculty of Architecture, UKIM and hosted by the City of Skopje. The proposed topic of the workshop is “Testing Grounds – Citizens centred and Data driven urban development”.
