The preparation of startegic plan for protection and rehabilitaion of the Roman aqueduct started
With the promotion of the Memorandum of Understanding the main stage of  the project "Strategic Plan for the protection and rehabilitation of archaeological sites and surroundings of the Roman aqueduct in Skopje formally started.
The Mayor of the City of Skopje, Koce Trajanovski, first conveyed his own impression and expressed that the promotion of the Memorandum of Understanding is a good opportunity on his own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Skopje, to express his gratitude to the Kingdom of Belgium,the Flandric government and the Catholic University of Leuven, for their attention and respect to our historical and artistic heritage.
The main aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity of the key target groups and end users in the field of cultural heritage protection and the formulation of the strategy.
This memorandum has been signed by the project partners: the Department for Protection of Cultural Heritage, the City of Skopje, the Department for processing spatial information and the Center for monuments of the Catholic University of Leuven.
Also, collaborators in this project are:  the University St. Cyril and Methodius ", MESACONS-Macedonia Urbis et Terra-Flanders, Belgium, the Conservation center of Skopje and the municipalities of Butel and Karpos.
The project is financially supported by the Program for Southeast Europe of the Government of Flanders (Belgium).

THE CITY OF SKOPJE HAS BEEN PRESENTED AT THE “OPEN DAYS – EUROPEAN WEEK OF REGIONS AND CITIES” Yesterday /13.10.2015/ the City of Skopje was presented at the 13th edition of the “OPEN DAYS - European Week of Regions and Cities” which was held in Brussels from 12th to 15th October. In the frameworks of this traditional event, the City of Skopje, for the first time, organized an Open Day, which was be held at the Mission of the Republic of Macedonia in Brussels, where the present guests and participants of the OPEN DAYS had the opportunity to become familiar with the Macedonian traditional cuisine, wine and music.
MAYOR TRAJANOVSKI WELCOMED THE STUDENTS FORM THE SISTER CITY OF TEMPE The Mayor of the City of Skopje, Koce Trajanovski, today on 12.06.2015, Friday, meet with high school students from the City of Tempe (Arizona), the United States of America, which traditionally come every year to an international school exchange with their peers from Skopje.
THE MANIFESTATION “CHINESE SPRING FESTIVAL IN SKOPJE” TOOK PLAСЕ IN GTC Today /14.02.2015, Saturday / in the City Shopping Mall (GTC), the manifestation "Chinese Spring Festival in Skopje" took place, where at a stage and at a number of , the citizens of Skopje had the opportunity to learn about some of the rich Chinese culture.
Musical and dance show by the cultural ensemble of Nanchang Yesterday /13.02.2015, Friday/ at the Macedonian National Theatre, a musical and dance show took place by the name of "Happy Chinese New Year, amazing Nanchang", performed by the cultural ensemble of Nanchang, as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the twinning of the City of Skopje and Nanchang (People's Republic of China).
OFFICIAL MEETING WITH THE DELEGATION FROM THE CITY OF NANCHANG Today /13.02.2015, Friday/ the official delegation from our sister city of Nanchang, People's Republic of China, had a meeting with the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Koce Trajanovski, and the President of the Council of the City of Skopje, Irena Misheva.
MEETING BETWEEN MAYOR KOCE TRAJANOVSKI AND THE AMBASSADOR OF THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA The Mayor of the City of Skopje had a meeting with the new ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Wen Zhenshun. At the meeting, Mayor Trajanovski welcomed the new Chinese Ambassador, positive that during his mandate in the Republic of Macedonia the relationship between the twin cities of Skopje and Nanchang will grow even stronger.
