The City of Skopje will sign a twinning agreement with the City of Zagreb. This was agreed at the today's meeting between the Mayor of the City of Skopje, Koce Trajanovski and Mayor of the City of Zagreb, Milan Bandic, during the official visit of a delegation from the City of Skopje to Zagreb.

This visit has been initiated by the mayor of Zagreb. At the today's official meeting, Mayor Bandic stressed that the initiative for twinning between the cities of  Zagreb and Skopje will be set on the agenda on the next session of the Council of the City of Zagreb. Both cities will sign a Memorandum for cooperation that will strengthen the ties in many fields. 

  
Both mayors discussed about the functioning of the urban public enterprises, the city administration and the possibility of a cultural exchange between the two cities.
